This treasure chest was commissioned by the renowned patisserie Pierre Hermé Japan to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the company. The creation of the box was crafted by the esteemed pipe organ artisan, Mr. Matthieu Garnier, while I was responsible for the design, painting, and gilding. This treasure chest depicts a noble medieval lady in Europe, renowned for her exceptional creativity in crafting sweets with unique flavors. Although few details remain about her, this treasure chest depicts some anecdotes from her life. These tales are captivating, portraying scenes that defy the conventional norms of the medieval era, making them even more intriguing.
